On the afternoon of June 24, 2022 at HCM Office – Opal Building Tower, POSCO VIET NAM has trained the combined firefighting and rescue plan for the company's employees along with employees of POSCO families such as POSCO – YAMATO Vina , POSCO- VST.

     Firefighting drill is an annual activity in POSCO VIET NAM. It’s not only training in theory but also offers hypothetical situations aimed at equipping fire protection skills, escape skills as well as improved reflexes for all employees in emergency situations, at the same time limiting to the lowest the damage to people and property caused by fire and explosion. Besides, the training aims to raise awareness and responsibility in firefighting work of all employees working in high-rise buildings, process to training for the proficient use of firefighting and rescue equipment, evacuate and exit quickly to safety places when a fire or explosion occurs.

 
     The training contents include learning the basic knowledge of the law on firefighting: The Firefighting law; location, usage and how to store fire extinguishers, oxygen tanks, fire alarms and other on-site firefighting equipment. In addition, the drill also focuses on skills training and escape diagrams to help employees understand the exits, safe haven in the building in case of the incident occurs.

     The rehearsal was held successful, ensured the right requirements and techniques. All the attendee understand firefighting regulations and exit diagram and quickly practice using firefighting tools as well as aware of the importance of fire prevention, firefighting and rescue.
