PARTICIPATION IN THE WORKSHOP & CELEBRATION OF “20 YEARS OF VIETNAM STEEL ASSOCIATION”

On June 30th, 2022, Representative for POSCO’s group Mr. Yoon Chang Woo – President of POSCO - Vietnam, and representatives of POSCO FAMILY including (POSCO YAMATO VINA, POSCO VST, POSCO VHPC) attended the ceremony of 20 years establishment of Vietnam Steel Association, accompanying Vietnam steel industry - construction and development was organized by Vietnam Steel Association (VSA).
The event marks an important milestone in the process of formation and development of the Vietnam Steel Association during 20 years (2001 - 2021) in order to tribute to the founding members and set new goals in the upcoming years. The event was performed in 3 days from June 30 to July 2, 2022 in the coastal city of Da Nang with the participation of members and leaders of leading steel corporations in Vietnam including POSCO. The program includes typical activities such as: the workshop "Steel Entrepreneurs 2022", visit factories in Dung Quat Industrial Zone - Quang Ngai Province and Social volunteer activity.
This is also an opportunity for steel companies in Vietnam to exchange as well as update information with domestic steel industry experts.
Participation in this event, in addition to having joined as members, POSCO Vietnam and POSCO FAMILY are also honored a gold sponsor for the ceremony with a sponsorship amount of up to 500,000,000 VND. The ceremony took place extremely successfully, it is hoped that the Vietnam Steel Association will get a lot of achievements, contributing to bring Vietnam's steel industry reach out to the international market in the near future.
